What does Remote Assistance mean?

Thus whether you experience any  problems in installing your software successfully, using software or creating designs, then we can help you remotely.  So what does this mean and how does it work?

 

Remote assistance basically means that wherever you are in the world, we can (with your permission), log into your computer and temporarily take over your computer screen from our base in Romford. As we try to help you from this end, you will literally see us working on your computer screen as if you were working on it yourself - absolutely fascinating!

 

Before we can log into your PC, you will need to generate a password which will only last the duration of our 'help time', after which it will 'expire' and we will not be able to log into your PC again - until next time, when you generate a new password. As you can see, this is very secure method of assisting.

 

Remote assistance is widely used by IT companies around the world to assist others and is thus a very useful and convenient method of helping others instantly, without the client  having to make long journeys for help, or making lengthy telephone calls.

 

With Remote Assistance, it is like having a member of our staff sitting right next to you. With CPL, you can also book an 'appointment' so we can contact you at a convenient time to suit you (during our office hours).
