The machine shown in the image above is a one colour manual pad
printing machines which stamps images and text onto a wide array of
products including Pens, Golf Balls, Clocks, Lighters, Letter Openers,
Plastic Paper Clips etc.
The beauty about pad printing is the fact that you can can print onto
flat surfaces, curved, convex, concave, irregular (eg. golf ball),
plastics, paper, wood, glass, metal (using special inks).
The
PS-21C pad printer shown above holds ink in a 'Closed cup' which greatly
reduces and ink smells and ink evaporation. It is also considered a
environmentally-friendly printing process. Products printed by the pad
printing process are 'touch dry' almost instantly and may require a
further period to fully cure. 'Hardener' can be added to the ink to give
the print longevity.
Thanks to
a compact cliche (printing plate) making system, you can now make
your own printing plates in-house, just for a few pounds. It takes less
than 15 minutes to make your own plates and several images (jobs) can be
incorporated onto one plate thereby saving you time and money.
